Although no one has done the math, it can easily be concluded that over 90% of the content on this page is satire.  Due to the incredible success of phoenixpreacher, I have felt compelled to respond with this light-hearted parody to give those of us who leave there feeling like the “enemy” an opportunity to decompress and laugh a little bit.  I have nothing against Phoenix Preacher and personally think Michael Newnham is a fairly sensible guy with good taste.

Phonics Preacher is not intended to be taken seriously, nor is it intended to provoke a violent response from its readers.  If responses are posted in a light that reveals a person’s honest: pain, bitterness and or rage towards Calvary Chapel or Phonics Preacher, it will be removed.  It’s not that we oppose honest dissagreement.  Those disagreements that are not laden with vulnerablity and pain will remain.  The bearing of a truly painful heart needs to be done in a more supportive environment than this one.

Phonics Preacher is a pro-Calvary Chapel blog, however, it is not pro “every Calvary Chapel” nor is it pro “every CC Pastor”.  Sometimes, the satire here may point to valid issues of questionable appearance.  Sometimes, (and mostly), it will point to nothing of significant value at all.
