If I had a wooden nickle for every time I’ve heard stories about oppressive congregants abusing their pastors, I’d have a bunch of wooden nickles.

The fact is, nothing can be done about it. Prides get bruised and feelings get hurt, and who takes the blame? The pastor. He’s just trying to teach the Bible, encourage people to grow, take care of his family and make a difference in the world… but, the moment he doesn’t coddle someone’s pride, he is instantly labeled ‘El Diablo en chones grande’.

This kind of thing doesn’t happen in well managed and Biblically correct establishments, (i.e. Lutheran churches, Presbyterian churches, House churches No churches). It only happens where the pastor is un-educated and the system of government is blamed on Moses. A scorned congregant can cry wolf, his cronies will lift him up as the poster boy of abuse, but no one ever asks if the accusations are even true.

This continues to happen, and nobody will do anything about it. I’m (blank#ty bl*nk) sick and tired of it! I think I’ll go put umbrellas in my cool aid.

Scorned pastor, we are here for you. Let this be a haven where you can freely declare your suffering as being true and we will embrace you no matter what. In fact, we will get angry on your account and let you be the victim that you deserve to be. Victims are always innocent, and so are you. It is a useless mission, but somebody needs to stand up for you.
